CrossFit Here at CrossFit 1080, we follow the very foundational values of CrossFit, “constantly varied functional movement executed as high intensity”, with our CrossFit program. Each 1 hour class contains components of strength training and classic CrossFit WODs. We incorporate all areas of fitness including strength, endurance, technique, and stamina. Each class brings you through a proper warm-up, technique work, strength training, metcon, and accessory work. Every class is varied and challenging to ensure you never get bored. Everyone of all levels of fitness is encouraged to attend. We scale workouts to your level so you get the most out of your session every time!

Torque Barbell Torque Barbell is our USA Weightlifting club for competitive weightlifters. It focuses on improving the technical execution and strength of the snatch, clean & jerk and related lifts to enhance explosiveness, strength, and coordination. In each training session, athletes can expect to snatch or clean & jerk, perform a variation of the squat, deadlift or press, and take on other supplemental exercises for the Olympic lifts.

Personal Coaching In today’s busy world, it is difficult to attach a typical allotted amount of time for exercise, let alone be capable of attending a specific class time. CrossFit 1080 offers a wide range of personal workout programs catered to help you achieve your ideal body. You will be appointed personal coach who will develop an exercise regimen suited specifically for you to help you reach your goals, whatever they may be.

TRX and Kettlebell Our TRX/Kettlebells program is perfect for those interested in increasing their fitness in a way that differs from the barbells and burpees of CrossFit. The TRX® Suspension Trainer utilizes your own bodyweight to increase strength and mobility while building a strong core. Kettlebell training incorporates many major muscle groups at once for a full body workout each session. This class is great for effective cardiovascular training and muscle building.

This class is only 30 minutes so it is perfect for those with a packed schedule and not enough time for our hour-long classes. Just like CrossFit, every WOD is different and each workout is scaled to your fitness level.

EnduraFit This Monostructural program combines speed, power and variability of intensity on rowers, airdyne, bikes, running, and sprinting.  You’ll "travel" through the four heart rate zones throughout your training session. Sessions are 60 minutes in length. This program is great if you want to increase endurance and improve body composition through cardiovascular training.

StayFit Our StayFit program is for those who want to continue their fitness journey with the experience of an overall program that adheres to the athlete’s abilities. Each hour-long class incorporates strength work along with other functional fitness movements such as pull-ups, rowing, burpees, etc. This class also adds in a nutritional aspect where we discuss healthy eating, meal prep, and counting macros to make you as healthy as possible while maximizing the hard work you put in at the gym.

StayFit

Our StayFit program is for those who want to continue their fitness journey with the experience of an overall program that adheres to the athlete’s abilities. 1080 Kids 1080 Kids is a principle for coach youth from 10-14. Based on the principle of Mechanics, Consistency and then Intensity, 1080 Kids emphasizes good movement and discipline. Consistently good mechanics translates to physical literacy, enhanced sports performance and fewer sports injuries for kids. Not only that, a vast body of research indicates that exercise is beneficial to cognitive function, which means consistent adherence to the program can have a positive impact on children’s academic achievement. 1080 Kids is meant to be fun for all ages. Fun means we provide an active alternative to sedentary pursuits, which means less childhood obesity and all-around better health for our children. 1080 Kids is designed to be minimalist; it is inexpensive and often requires little or no equipment, allowing a wide array of socioeconomic groups an opportunity to be physically fit and physically active throughout their lives.

This program uses sandbags, sleds, rope pulls, yokes and other corrective exercises and stability work in order to create a solid structural base so that each athlete’s training potential is maximized.
